LanguageLine Solutions held firm as one of the world’s leading language service providers in 2024, according to a key industry index.
 
With 2024 revenues exceeding $1.1 billion, LanguageLine remained the world’s second-largest LSP, according to the Slator 2025 Language Service Provider Index (LSPI). In a period when one-third of similar companies on the Slator LSPI reported revenue declines, LanguageLine saw significant growth over the previous year.
 
LanguageLine has long been the global leader in interpretation services, both on-demand and onsite. The Slator LSPI measures total revenues across multiple service lines, including interpretation, translation, localization, testing, and training.
 
The rankings follow a year of major expansion into emerging sectors for LanguageLine, including AI translation, telehealth, and electronic health records (EHR). In 2024, the company launched advanced translation and localization services, integrating machine translation and AI-driven hybrid solutions that combine technology with expert-in-the-loop services.
 
The Slator LSPI evaluated more than 300 companies, with 28 new LSPs debuting on the list. Overall, the combined revenue of Slator 2025 LSPI companies grew 6.6% in 2024, surpassing $8.4 billion.
 
In early 2025, LanguageLine completed its acquisition of ZP Better Together, a pioneering provider of language solutions and technology for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities in North America. A recognized leader in Video Relay Services (VRS) and other accessible communication solutions, ZP Better Together empowers individuals through innovative technology and inclusive services. This expansion positions LanguageLine as a strong contender for the top spot on the Slator LSPI next year.
