Monterey, CA – July 22, 2024 – LanguageLine Solutions is proud to announce that it has won the 2024 Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) Business Excellence Award in the “Services to Businesses” category. The prestigious award was presented at MPCC’s annual dinner, attended by civic leaders from across Monterey County.
The award was determined through two rounds of voting by MPCC members and their constituents throughout June and July 2024. According to the Chamber, the Business Excellence Awards increase public awareness of the vital role business plays on California’s Central Coast and give recognition to those businesses that have achieved excellence in their fields.
LanguageLine, founded in Monterey in 1982, has significantly contributed to the city’s reputation as the “Language Capital of the World,” joining esteemed institutions such as the Defense Language Institute, Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and Naval Postgraduate School.
